These terms apply to the use of this website and to all offers, orders and agreements made through Velouré.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country remain unaffected.

Use of the website

You may use this website only for lawful personal shopping and information purposes.

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious software or use its content for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

We may restrict access to the website when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or the prevention of misuse.

Product information

We aim to present our products, colours, descriptions, measurements and images as accurately as possible.

Actual colours may vary slightly due to lighting, photography and screen settings. Minor differences that do not affect the essential characteristics or normal use of a product are not considered defects.

Product availability may change. Displaying an item on the website does not guarantee that it will remain in stock.

Prices

Prices are displayed in the currency selected on the website and include VAT where applicable, unless clearly stated otherwise.

Shipping costs, import costs and other applicable charges are displayed during checkout where possible.

We may change prices at any time. A price change does not affect an order that has already been accepted, except where there is an obvious pricing or technical error.

Orders and acceptance

After placing an order, you will receive an electronic confirmation. This confirms that we have received your order but does not automatically mean that the order has been accepted.

An agreement is formed when we accept and process the order or send confirmation that the order has been shipped.

We may refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including:

• An item being unavailable
• An obvious pricing or product information error
• Payment not being authorised
• Suspected fraud, misuse or unauthorised resale
• Delivery not being possible to the supplied address

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the relevant amount will be refunded.

Payment

Orders must be paid using one of the payment methods available during checkout.

Payments are processed by external payment providers. Additional terms from a selected payment provider, such as Klarna, may apply to that payment method.

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate payment, billing and delivery information.

Discounts and promotions

Discount codes and promotional offers are subject to the conditions communicated with the promotion.

Unless stated otherwise, discounts cannot be exchanged for cash, applied retrospectively or combined with other promotions.

We may withdraw or correct a promotion in the event of misuse, fraud or an obvious error.

Delivery

Delivery estimates are indicative and may be affected by the carrier, destination, customs, public holidays and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for entering a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged to the customer where legally permitted.

Right of withdrawal and returns

Consumers may have the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

Instructions, conditions and return costs are described in our return and refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Defective products and legal guarantee

Products must conform to the agreement and meet the quality and characteristics a consumer may reasonably expect.

If an item is defective or does not match what was ordered, contact us with the order number and relevant photographs. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, an appropriate solution may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund.

Your statutory guarantee rights remain unaffected by any commercial return period or additional warranty.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including brand names, logos, photographs, text, designs, graphics and layout, belongs to Velouré or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell or commercially use website content without prior written permission.

Third-party services and links

Our website may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of independent third parties.

Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that party’s own terms and policies.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or mandatory consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was concluded or for commercial losses arising from a consumer purchase.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of such events.

Complaints

Complaints should be submitted as soon as reasonably possible and should include a clear description of the issue and the relevant order number.

The terms in force when your order was placed will normally apply to that order. The latest version will always be available on this page.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law.

If you are a consumer living in another country, you also retain the protection of mandatory consumer laws applicable in your country of residence.

Disputes may be submitted to a competent court in accordance with applicable law.
